About Me

I started my training at the Gillian Cartwright School of Dance, on the Isle of Wight, studying Ballet, Tap, and Modern. During my time here I competed in the All England Dance Festivals and was also given opportunities to dance with Ballet Russe and Wayne Sleep. In my final two years, I was accepted as a Senior Associate at the Central School of Ballet, London.
At the age of 16, I received a Dance and Drama Award to attend Tring Park, where I gained qualifications in A-level Dance, BTEC Triple Diploma in Performing Arts, and a Certificate in Professional Ballet. During my time at Tring Park, I performed at Wycombe Swan Theatre and Bloomsbury Theatre.
In 2008 I started at Chichester University, studying for BA (HONS) Dance where I started teaching Ballet for the university's Dance Society and was also asked to perform with Vortex Contemporary Company and 3-Fall Dance Company. During the summer holidays, I performed in shows and cabarets at various holiday parks and hotels.
After graduating, I accepted work as an entertainer and dance captain, which included choreographing, teaching, costuming, and dancing in 8 shows a week and performing as Cinderella in the in-house pantomime. I also successfully auditioned as a dancer and character worker for Disneyland Paris.
In 2012 I started teaching at the Gillian Cartwright School of Dance whilst also training with the Royal Academy of Dance for a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies.
I am now a fully qualified, freelance RAD ballet teacher and BBOdance modern and musical theatre teacher. As well as entering for exams, where I have a 100% pass rate, I also choreograph and edit music for Ballet, Modern, and Contemporary routines for various competitions, with a high percentage of students placing in their sections.
I would love to pass on my experience to both students and teachers by offering coaching classes, choreography, and help with music. I can also help research where the student should audition and compete, depending on strengths and ambitions.
Life as a student and teacher is hard enough so let me do the work for you!
